Bring a book, find a new favorite, and sip while you swap. Join us Saturday, August 2 from 12–2PM at 3 Daughters Brewing in St. Pete (222 22nd St. S). Books, brews and bookish goodies await—don’t miss it!
How Our Book Swap Works:
1. Bring a Book You Love: Choose a gently used book that you’ve enjoyed—whether it’s a recent favorite or a timeless classic. If you’d recommend it to a friend, it’s perfect for swapping! (We kindly ask: no beat-up or unwanted books.)
2. Swap for Something New-to-You: You’ll get a swap ticket when you arrive, which you can exchange for a used gem from someone else. Don’t see your ideal read right away? Sip a drink, grab a snack, and hang out while new books arrive.
3. Browse Our Curated Collection: Explore hand-picked titles, goods, and bookish treasures available for purchase. Every buy helps us learn what you love—and supports our dream of opening a local indie bookshop right here in St. Pete!
4. Enter to Win Craft Beverages: For every purchase you make, you'll be entered to win a 3 Daughters Brewing 6-pack on us!
5. Share Your Bookish Finds: Tag us in your post ("Banyan Books" on Facebook and @shopbanyan on Instagram) to show off what you swapped.

Book Swap & Pop-Up at Mastry's Brewing Co. (St. Pete Beach)
We’re hosting a Book Swap & Pop-Up event on Sunday, May 4, from 2-4 PM at Mastry’s Brewing Co. in St. Pete Beach, FL (7701 Blind Pass Road St. Pete Beach, FL 33706).
Here’s how it works:
Bring a favorite gently used book to share. It can be a recent read or a past time favorite. As a rule of thumb, only bring books you’d like to swap for—ones that you’d share with a friend. (No junky books, please!)
Swap it with another used gem. You’ll receive a ticket to swap with a used book while you’re there. If you don’t see something you’d like to swap with right away, you can grab a drink or bite to eat and wait for your ideal read.
Browse new books, goods and bookish items. We’ll offer a curated collection of titles on site. All purchases help us understand what you like to read, offer more titles in the future, and (hopefully) open a local, independent bookshop in St. Pete!
